Role Overview
As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining precise inventory levels of parts and materials essential for our state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. You will ensure that all materials are received, stored, and issued efficiently to support our production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and meticulously inspect incoming materials, confirming part numbers, quantities, and overall condition.
Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and traceability.
Efficiently pick and kit materials for production orders based on Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Conduct cycle counts and address discrepancies through thorough root cause analysis.
Monitor shelf life and implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for sensitive inventory.
Document inventory transactions within ERP systems and allocate materials to work orders accordingly.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and uphold 5S principles in all storage areas.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy and minimizing loss.
