Join Our Team as an IPDRG Medical Coder - Remote Opportunity!
We are seeking experienced IPDRG Medical Coders to work from the comfort of their homes. Please note: Only CCS certified coders will be considered for this role.
Specialization Required: IPDRG Coding
Experience: Minimum 5 years in IPDRG coding is required.
Essential Skills: Candidates must possess knowledge and experience in coding for Newborns, OBGYN, Critical Charts, and must be adept in managing CC (Complications/Comorbidities) and MCC (Major Complications/Comorbidities). Familiarity with the Query process, Critical Charts, and provider adjudication is essential.
Work Environment: This is a remote role, and candidates are required to have their own laptop and a stable Wi-Fi connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign accurate codes to diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding accuracy and proper sequencing per official coding guidelines.
- Engage with providers regarding any documentation that needs clarification or is incomplete.
- Review patient charts and documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Keep codes current and applicable.
