ROLE OVERVIEW:
As part of the Helpdesk Opening Team, you will be integral in coordinating the IT processes required for the opening of new stores. This involves effective communication with external partners and managing the logistics of hardware and internet line installations across multiple locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive IT support remotely across various locations in Greece as part of the store opening/closing process.
- Collaborate with an international team of IT specialists to facilitate the store opening process for the entire LPP capital group.
- Engage with hardware and software suppliers, as well as internet service providers.
- Coordinate communications between the IT Opening Group and store opening coordinators.
- Oversee daily Service Desk operations, ensuring effective resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Install predefined computer images and necessary applications on desktop and laptop computers based on current procedures.
- Assist with ticket resolution and service requests through the Service Desk, providing remote support to LPP Group locations.
- Manage hardware repairs in accordance with defined warranty procedures.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Team Leader and local Operations Manager when necessary.
- Monitor hardware break-fix services.
- Prepare user manuals, documentation, and instructional materials as needed.
