About the job
At CoMind, we are pioneering a revolutionary non-invasive neuromonitoring technology, marking the dawn of a new era in clinical brain monitoring. By joining our team, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced technologies that enhance the diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving lives globally.
The Role:
Our IT team is the backbone that provides the infrastructure, security, and systems essential for CoMind to function effectively and efficiently. In this high-ownership environment, you will have a significant impact on how a rapidly growing company constructs and secures its technological foundations.
Reporting directly to our Head of IT, the IT Operations Engineer will oversee the daily operations and continuous enhancement of CoMind's IT services. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who excel in a dynamic startup setting.
At CoMind, every team member is expected to work at least 4 days a week from our modern King's Cross offices, with an additional flexible work-from-home day.
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional end-user support across the organization, serving as the primary contact for IT inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including device provisioning, account setup, and access management across Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and other business applications (e.g., Atlassian).
Administer and maintain core infrastructure, including network equipment (FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, wireless access points), on-premise servers, and cloud services.
Monitor system health, performance, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they affect business operations.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Manage and maintain endpoint devices through MDM platforms, ensuring devices are secure, up-to-date, and compliant.
Contribute to ITSM process improvements, formalizing service request handling, incident management, and change management workflows.
Embrace AI as a fundamental aspect of our culture — not merely as a tool, but as an integral part of our collaboration and innovation processes. We expect all team members to leverage AI in their daily activities and discover new ways to utilize it effectively.
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT operations or related fields.
