This position encompasses planning, delivering, and enhancing support services, which include installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training. The specialist is tasked with diagnosing and resolving reported incidents, analyzing work processes, researching issue trends, and creating training materials. Responsibilities also include hardware and software installation and maintenance, executing backup and recovery operations, and consulting with users to identify their needs. Additionally, this role involves conducting feasibility studies, trade-off analyses, preparing business cases, and ensuring compliance with information security and cybersecurity policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training.
- Diagnose and resolve customer-reported incidents with timely escalation; perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Plan and analyze work processes; research trends to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for end users and internal staff.
- Create and maintain problem tracking databases to manage incidents, requests, and known issues.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain both hardware and software in client environments; perform routine maintenance and updates.
- Execute backup and recovery operations; test restore procedures to verify data integrity and availability.
- Consult with users to identify needs and translate requirements into actionable technical tasks.
