We invite you to apply for the Summer 2026 cohort of our Ballotpedia Fellows Program. As a trusted and nonpartisan online resource, we empower voters and readers with dependable insights on elections, governance, and public policy.
As a Ballotpedia Fellow, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our data-driven analysis of American politics. The Summer 2026 program will emphasize comprehensive research on local candidates nationwide who will be featured on the ballot in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.
The Summer 2026 Ballotpedia Fellows Program is scheduled from Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, July 24, 2026. Fellows are expected to dedicate 5-10 hours per week, with flexibility to manage your schedule around school, extracurricular activities, or other commitments.
Ballotpedia is happy to provide documentation for community service hours, course credit, or other verification upon request (please note that court-mandated hours are not eligible). Participants will need access to a computer or laptop and a reliable internet connection.
