Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in an Agile IT environment to establish cloud-based solutions within a government-mandated hybrid cloud framework, ensuring security, performance, operability, and scalability for clients.
- Support the client's cloud strategy by leveraging DoD-approved cloud service providers to deliver IT services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Data as a Service (DaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs) within the agency's cloud architecture.
- Assist in defining and engineering solutions that meet customer business requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on technical decisions during client interactions; develop strategies utilizing innovative cloud best practices.
- Contribute to architecture, design, and requirements analysis through systems engineering, focusing on cloud-native services to optimize the customer landscape.
- Develop and implement deployment and process automation capabilities (scripts, applications, platforms, cloud-native services, APIs) to ensure processes are defined, repeatable, scalable, and shareable; using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.
- Utilize DevSecOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.) to operate and maintain a fully integrated DevSecOps environment supporting the development, testing, and deployment of infrastructure and applications via CI/CD pipelines.
- Proactively address issues with a sense of urgency, providing direct support to customers with advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including program-level design artifacts, as-built documents, and user-level documentation to accurately capture technical baselines and operational capabilities for enterprise-scale cloud environments.
