About the job
Schedule: Mid Shift
The Role:
Join Arch Insurance International, an innovative and rapidly expanding insurance firm, as we deliver comprehensive underwriting solutions across a diverse portfolio of over 20 business classes. We operate in premier markets including London, the Lloyd’s market, the UK regional markets, and regions in Australia, Bermuda, and the EU.
In the last three years, our gross written premiums surged from $783 million to $2 billion, and we aim to sustain this growth trajectory. Recently, we were honored as the Top Large Insurance Employer in the Insurance Business UK Survey.
To support our ambitions, we are making substantial investments in data analysis and management, exemplified by the establishment of our Chief Data Office.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our Party, Risk, and Reference master data to facilitate seamless downstream processes and analytics.
- Quickly resolve MDM (Master Data Management) inquiries, mitigate recurring issues, and promote ongoing enhancements in data quality within Stibo STEP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Contact for MDM Queries: Manage, investigate, and collaborate with both GSO and Onshore operations teams to address incoming issues and requests, including suspected duplicates, attribute corrections, and reference data updates. Ensure end-to-end ownership of cases, including stakeholder communications and closure documentation.
- Data Cleansing Initiatives: Collaborate with Operations teams in GSO and Onshore to strategize and execute targeted cleansing sprints for Party, Risk, and Reference domains (deduplication, standardization, survivorship fixes, and enrichment). Monitor progress and outcomes.
- Stibo STEP Operations: Implement stewardship workflows, match/merge activities, maintain golden records, and govern reference data.
- Data Quality Monitoring: Analyze dashboards/scorecards, identify patterns, and recommend preventive measures (new rules, validations, or process modifications).
- Change and Release Support: Assist in validating data model or rule changes in lower environments; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and cutover tasks impacting master data.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain “how-to” guides, FAQs, and known-issue playbooks for common MDM requests.
