Oversee the Group's month-end processes to guarantee precision in financial records. Conduct month-end close activities, including journal preparation and reconciliations for the balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring prompt closure of financial statements each month.
Engage in internal projects by helping to define project scope and objectives, creating detailed project plans, and coordinating personnel and processes to ensure timely project delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
Support the management and oversight of Group legal entities as assigned, which includes:
Assisting in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts for entities with relevant analysis and commentary.
Contributing to analytical reviews, transaction analysis, balance sheet substantiation, revenue, and cost analysis.
Supporting the management of filing and reporting obligations such as VAT and Corporate Tax submissions.
Promote continuous improvement and implement best practices for managing accounting records and reporting deadlines.
Assist in monitoring, updating, and implementing Group policies and procedures.
Aid in the completion of annual audits for the Group's companies.
Remain informed about accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial laws to ensure complete compliance.
Provide on-demand support to the Head of Department and Group Financial Controller as required.
