Join our dynamic team as a Junior Metallurgist at SGS, where you will support and execute metallurgical tests including comminution, flotation, and hydrometallurgy in our state-of-the-art laboratory. Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring the calibration, verification, and operational readiness of laboratory equipment.
Maintaining a clean and orderly laboratory environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Preparing reagents and standards for testing processes.
Conducting mechanical preparation of samples, including inventory management, drying, crushing, homogenization, and pulverization.
Executing metallurgical tests following established procedures and guidelines.
Performing necessary quality control measures during testing.
Documenting and reporting data for result evaluation in compliance with established record-keeping processes.
Contributing to the development of techniques and methods for process improvements.
Identifying non-conformities and opportunities for enhancements, proposing corrective actions as needed.
