Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete payroll processing for Bulgaria from start to finish.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution every month, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Handle the submission and management of various leave types (sick leave, maternity/paternity leave, etc.) to NSSI.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Submit required statutory reports to local authorities.
- Oversee all year-end payroll and tax-related activities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of and compliance with local labor, tax, and social security laws.
- Ensure full adherence to internal controls (ICFR), audit standards, and business continuity strategies.
- Assist internal stakeholders during both internal and external audits concerning payroll.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance standard operating procedures and documentation for payroll processes.
- Foster effective communication and maintain strong relationships with company partners (HR, Finance, etc.) and local authorities.
- Drive improvements in internal processes and technical solutions.
- Engage in projects aimed at optimizing the efficiency and consistency of payroll operations.
