ALTEN MÉXICO is seeking a dedicated Junior Quality Engineer for Suppliers to join our team and contribute to strategic projects in the industrial and advanced manufacturing sectors. This role demands strong technical skills in quality management, direct interaction with suppliers, and the execution of critical methodologies such as PPAP, PFMEA, and deviation control. The primary goal is to ensure adherence to quality standards from the development phase through product release, utilizing digital management and quality analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Quality Evaluation and Validation: Review PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) ensuring compliance with technical and process requirements.
- Execute pre-work for DPAR (Design Process and Review) and PFMEA to identify risks early.
- Assign and manage qualified supplier lists (QPL) based on performance and compliance criteria.
Incident Management and Technical Documentation:
- Create and manage documented deviations in coordination with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
- Apply quality holds (QI Hold) when critical non-conformities are detected.
- Develop and validate inspection plans tailored to product types and technical specifications.
Technical Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Actively participate in quality improvement teams and problem-solving initiatives.
- Collaborate with commodity experts to evaluate supplier capabilities for specific products.
- Ensure traceability and documentation in accordance with international industrial standards.
