Qualifications
As our Junior Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include:Estimating and communicating daily production requirementsDemonstrating safe and proper use of all kitchen equipmentUnderstanding all standard procedures related to food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitationResponding effectively to guest needs during operational hoursSupporting the control of food costsDefining productivity standards along with quality requirementsMonitoring food and beverage outlet orders to ensure they meet inventory levelsSubmitting weekly wage overtime forecasts for Chef approvalEnsuring accuracy in weekly time sheets according to forecastsRequirements:At least 4 years of experience in the culinary field, including a minimum of 1 year as a Junior Sous Chef in an international 5-star hotel chainProficiency in both Greek and English, both spoken and writtenStrong computer skillsA culinary degreeKnowledge of hygiene standards and HACCP regulationsAbility to work night shifts for breakfast preparationsHigh energy, ability to thrive under pressure, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
