As the Key Account Director, reporting directly to the National Trading Director, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing innovative commercial strategies.
Your Mission:
Your primary objective is to optimize profitability through the ideal integration of pricing, volume, and product mix for a key National account. By providing strategic leadership, proficient negotiation, and effective collaboration, you will nurture a thriving partnership that delivers long-term value for both parties.
You will create and implement a customized commercial strategy in partnership with the Trading Director, ensuring it aligns with our overall national goals and regional trading efforts. Acting as a pivotal point of integration among our commercial teams, you will ensure your strategy enhances divisional operations.
You will exemplify best practices in customer management and, where appropriate, mentor and support the development of members of the Divisional Trading teams.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a commercial strategy tailored to the national account.
- Relationship Building: Forge senior-level relationships with key stakeholders across the merchant’s organization.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with divisional managers to ensure alignment with broader sales and marketing initiatives.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations for national agreements, ensuring alignment with our pricing and supply strategies.
- Market Intelligence: Act as a key resource for market insights, relaying trends and customer requirements.
- Process Excellence: Establish standards of best practices in customer management, including effective CRM usage and reporting.
This role is field-based and requires regular nationwide travel.
