Join SumUp's dynamic sales team in Spain as we venture into the upmarket segment, focusing on high-value merchants requiring advanced payment solutions. We are creating a specialized team of Key Account Sales Executives to capture business from merchants with monthly transaction volumes exceeding €40,000. Your role will be pivotal in surpassing established competitors and setting new standards for multi-product sales across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to influence and shape our approach as we expand our footprint in Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage high-value merchant accounts in your territory through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, field visits, events, and referrals.
- Manage a robust pipeline of 50+ active opportunities, overseeing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to successful activation.
- Displace competing POS, kiosk, and card reader solutions by showcasing the advantages of SumUp's diverse product offering across various verticals.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to enhance prospect lists and ensure pipeline quality, maintaining Salesforce hygiene.
- Gather competitive intelligence in your territory, monitoring competitor pricing, activities, and strategies to stay ahead.
