Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Technical Oversight
• Provide technical assistance in producing kinetic defense items such as projectiles, warheads, rocket motors, and explosives
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes to uphold quality, efficiency, and performance
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enact design revisions, process enhancements, and corrective measures
• Conduct root cause and failure analyses for defects, non-conformances, and test outcomes
• Maintain technical ownership of kinetic systems including munitions, energetics, rocket motors, fuses, and guided systems
• Assist in system integration and validation testing of prototypes and production units
• Ensure proper handling, storage, transport, and disposal of energetic materials
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), hazard analyses, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with explosive safety standards
• Design and establish production and handling locations for energetic materials
• Manage ammunition tracking, serialization, and lifecycle documentation
Safety, Security & Compliance
• Act as the technical authority for explosive safety and occupational health risks
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities
• Lead incident investigations as necessary
• Perform safety analyses and site designs in accordance with local and international regulations
Quality Assurance & Process Control
• Analyze process control data and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in product qualification, certification, and manufacturing change approvals
• Maintain production records, test documentation, and configuration control
