Join the vibrant team at Summerset by the Dunes Village in Papamoa as a Kitchen Assistant, where you will play a key role in our kitchen operations. Your contributions will enable our chefs to provide nutritious, top-quality meals for our residents and visitors. From food preparation to maintaining a spotless and well-organized kitchen, your impact will be felt throughout the community.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
- Supporting the plating and presentation of meals to ensure an appealing dining experience
- Operating dishwashers and ensuring all kitchenware is thoroughly sanitized
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas while adhering to safety and compliance standards
- Assisting with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries, including proper stock rotation
This dynamic role is rewarding and allows you to directly enhance the wellbeing and enjoyment of our residents and their families.
This is a part-time position scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 PM to 7:30 PM, with opportunities to take on additional shifts.
