The Encore Boston Harbor is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward who will ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned kitchen areas. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of hygiene and service within our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold Encore Boston Harbor's core values and adhere to all property and department standards.
- Collaborate on departmental goals and operational effectiveness, identifying key success indicators.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable laws, delivering exceptional service to guests and coworkers.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals as per OSHA regulations for various surfaces.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, assisting with preventative maintenance procedures.
- Safely transport waste from kitchen areas to designated disposal locations.
- Maintain a hygienic workspace, ensuring all food and workstations are cleaned and sanitized.
- Commit to safety protocols and engage in continuous education relevant to the industry.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
