JOB TITLE: L8 Compliance Manager
Legionella Responsible Person (L8 Compliance)
LOCATION: London
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, 40 HOURS PER WEEK
SALARY: £57,000 - £62,000 per year

Key Objectives:
Ensure full compliance with all legislation and guidance related to Legionella control, including:
- Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- COSHH Regulations 2002
- HSE ACOP L8
- HSG274 Parts 1–3
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and control Legionella risks across all water systems.
- Implement and maintain written control schemes, ensuring adherence.
- Monitor water temperatures, conduct sampling, flushing, and inspections.
- Keep accurate and auditable records of compliance activities.
- Ensure timely completion of remedial actions and escalate any non-compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure service delivery.
- Deliver small water projects up to a value of £8k.
Performance & KPI Responsibilities:
- Complete all compliance tasks within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain 98% completion of scheduled monitoring and inspection tasks.
- Ensure zero overdue actions on Legionella-related remediation.
- Keep all documentation up-to-date and accessible for audits.
- Support the team in achieving departmental KPIs related to water safety and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and performance reviews.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Legionella Responsible Person (HXT-WO2) or equivalent.
- Mechanical or electrical qualifications at NVQ / C&D level.
- Strong understanding of technical compliance.
- Proficient in Excel and IT applications.
- Proven successful working relationships with high-end service providers.
- Excellent communication skills.
