The Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) is seeking dedicated Lab Technicians (LT) to join our team in Mumbai, working across various laboratories aimed at enhancing diagnostic capabilities for tuberculosis (TB) and other poverty-related diseases.
As a Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of WHO-approved diagnostic techniques, focusing on drug-resistant TB testing. You will collaborate closely with the Lab-in-Charge to ensure the highest standards of laboratory practice and data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct LPA and LC tests on patient specimens promptly.
Oversee clinical and laboratory operations, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
Gain expertise in advanced diagnostic tests, including LPA, LC, and RS.
Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for TB laboratories to maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Assist in regular maintenance of lab equipment and logistics related to lab consumables.
Support the Lab-in-Charge in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Swiftly report any adverse events related to laboratory activities.
