- Conduct microbiological analyses utilizing established techniques to meet the service standards of your department while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standards, as well as organizational and environmental policies.
- Contribute to the updating and development of new methodologies, from executing methods, recording results, processing data, and following procedures and protocols as required.
- Operate, facilitate, and ensure the optimal functioning of laboratory equipment and supplies related to your responsibilities, and be accountable for reporting any malfunctions or the need for replacements.
- Perform microbiological analyses on various sample types. Implement and validate/verify laboratory analysis methods and techniques.
- Carry out analyses and sample preparations in accordance with established testing methods and adhering to good laboratory practices. Address internal and external audits. Ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment and maintain control over measurement media. Qualify equipment. Develop and validate/verify analysis methods. Adhere to the quality, safety, and hygiene standards of the laboratory.
