- Oversee the management and coordination of laboratory materials.
- Process purchase orders for laboratory supplies efficiently.
- Regularly generate comprehensive reports detailing materials and reagents utilized across all sections.
- Conduct analysis on discrepancies regarding reagent and material utilization.
- Assess material efficiency by comparing total consumption against sales volumes.
- Monitor testing processes, design cost-saving measures per test, and provide monthly updates to the finance department regarding product mapping.
- Investigate excess material usage and provide explanations across departments.
- Perform random checks on materials used by laboratory staff, identify errors, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Evaluate risks associated with the material management process.
- Compile overtime checks and weekly attendance reports for the laboratory to be submitted to the lab manager.
- Maintain accurate records for quality audits, including both internal and external (ISO) evaluations.
