Position Summary
The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the luxurious standards of The Little Nell by sorting, washing, and pressing both soiled and clean hotel linens, in addition to offering laundry services for guest clothing items. This position reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping and is essential for ensuring a pristine environment for our guests.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
• Sorts linens from Rooms and Food and Beverage departments
• Responsible for weighing and bundling linens
• Handles the drying of terry items
• Executes hand pressing of guest laundry, including various clothing items such as shirts, dresses, and pants
• Performs ironing for Rooms and Food & Beverage
• Washes and dries uniforms, linens, and other items as designated
• Issues uniforms as required
• Manages all equipment, supplies, and chemicals in accordance with safety procedures
• Maintains a neat and clean laundry area
• Communicates guest comments and complaints to management
• Undertakes other duties as assigned
