Your Impact
The Advanced MCE Wind Technician within our Main Component Exchange (MCE) division will serve as a pivotal lead team member, providing support and supervision for on-site field operations with a keen focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires extensive platform expertise across Vestas, Acciona, and Siemens Gamesa systems, encompassing advanced diagnostics, leadership in major component exchanges, and site-level technical decision-making authority. This position requires 100% travel.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor team members by overseeing the lifting operations of equipment at heights exceeding 250 feet.
- Manage lifting operations, ensuring skills verification for large components and the ability to create, review, amend, and correct lifting plans.
- Execute safe and efficient repairs on all Wind Turbine electrical systems.
- Conduct Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures as an Authorized Person.
- Perform pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and engage in daily safety discussions.
- Maintain professional interactions with vendors and customers.
- Document all work meticulously in various electronic formats and provide constructive feedback to the Safety and Quality department to foster business enhancements.

Core Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of direct product experience with Vestas, Acciona, or Gamesa platforms.
- Direct turbine-specific experience is mandatory.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics for various Wind Turbine systems.
