ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering within dynamic, cloud-native environments.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, Docker, and AWS technologies (including S3, Glue, Kinesis, Athena/Presto).
- Demonstrated experience in designing and managing scalable ETL pipelines and data lake architectures.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, Apache Spark, and best practices for data quality management.
- Excellent collaboration skills to effectively support BI, analytics, and engineering teams.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of data engineering experience in AWS environments where data drives insights and decision-making across product, marketing, and operational functions.
YOUR ROLE
Lead the development of scalable data engineering initiatives that empower cross-functional teams by providing reliable, timely, and actionable data, ensuring that Launch Potato's analytics and business intelligence frameworks support strategic growth.
KEY OUTCOMES
- Create and enhance scalable, efficient ETL processes and data lake systems that proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect business operations.
- Take ownership of data ingestion, modeling, and transformation processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
