Franklin University, a distinguished institution located in Columbus, Ohio, is on the lookout for a passionate and seasoned professional to join our team as a full-time, 12-month Lead Faculty in Accounting within the Ross College of Business. This pivotal role involves the development of engaging course content, mentorship of faculty, and active involvement in university committees and professional networks. We offer the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work schedule, with the expectation that the candidate will be present on-site as needed to support departmental initiatives, collaboration, and university events.
The Lead Faculty is instrumental in designing, maintaining, and enhancing the curriculum to ensure an exceptional learning experience for our students. Responsibilities include setting course standards, ensuring uniformity in course delivery, and implementing assessment protocols in partnership with adjunct faculty. This position also entails teaching courses, stepping in as a substitute instructor when necessary, and mentoring adjunct faculty through observations, meetings, and professional development opportunities. Furthermore, the Lead Faculty will manage faculty recruitment, assignment, and evaluation in accordance with university policies, oversee course schedules, update curriculum information, and support university events.
