About the Role:
As the Brand Partnerships Lead at Headspace, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to enhance global health and happiness. The Partnerships team is focused on forming collaborative relationships with top-tier brands and organizations to expand our reach and introduce mindfulness and mental well-being through creative campaigns and integrated content. This position requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the Headspace ethos to implement impactful initiatives that foster both business growth and societal benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Market Development
- Drive the formulation of partnership strategies and oversee execution aligned with Headspace’s business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize potential partnership categories, including lifestyle, entertainment, media, and consumer brands, to enhance Headspace’s cultural significance and audience reach.
- Establish frameworks for assessing partnership prospects based on brand impact, audience expansion, and return on investment.
- Stay abreast of market and cultural trends to identify new collaboration possibilities.
Partnership Development & Execution
- Oversee the complete partnership development process from sourcing and pitching to structuring and negotiation.
- Collaborate with partners to co-create integrated marketing initiatives, co-branded content, and experiential activations that narrate shared brand stories.
- Engage with internal teams to implement partnerships across owned and earned channels, including app integrations, digital marketing, social storytelling, PR, and experiential events.
- Develop scalable playbooks to streamline partnership execution, ensure cross-functional collaboration, and establish performance monitoring frameworks to gauge impact and enhance results.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure effective deal execution.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain a portfolio of key brand and media partnerships to ensure sustainable success and reciprocal value.
- Establish executive-level relationships within partner organizations and represent Headspace as a brand ambassador during partnership discussions.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide reports on partnership outcomes and insights to senior leadership.
Internal Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand partnerships align with broader marketing objectives.
