Key Responsibilities:
As the Lead Integrator for the eAxle system, you will oversee the technical coordination involving the Power Electronic Unit (PEU), Electric Motor (EM), and Transmission (TR) across various project domains including system requirements, design, testing/validation, and application of the eAxle system.
- Ensure that the eAxle subproject meets timelines, specifications, budgets, and cost guidelines.
- Define interface responsibilities among the domains (PEU, EM, TR).
- Manage requirements effectively.
- Align the eAxle subproject schedule with the overall project milestone roadmap.
- Conduct technical configuration management specific to the eAxle level.
- Serve as the first escalation point for eAxle-related issues.
- Act as a proxy for the overall project manager.
Scope of Work:
- Collaborate as a vital member of the project team.
- Participate in system engineering design activities involving PEU, EM, and TR.
- Lead the SE-team dedicated to eAxle, which includes system, design, testing/validation, application, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
- Consolidate Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Focus Matrix.
- Initiate, coordinate, or participate in problem-solving teams, 8D processes, and failure notifications.
- Manage requirements and track work status.
- Serve as the first escalation level for critical requirements.
- Coordinate status meetings effectively.
Work Products:
- Develop and maintain the time schedule for the eAxle system (covering requirements, design, functional testing, validation, and application).
- Create and manage an interface matrix.
- Oversee the budget plan for the eAxle system.
- Ensure alignment and release of customer specifications, requirement specifications, and test specifications, as well as technical customer documents (TCD for series) and technical customer information (TCI for samples).
- Formulate the validation plan.
- Track costs for system components related to eAxle (e.g., screws, etc.).
