Qualifications
As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as the Engineer of Record for specific projects and oversee coordination meetings. Your role will include mentoring junior staff, budgeting, scheduling, and managing personnel effectively.Key responsibilities include:Conducting objective employee evaluations regularly.Acting as the Engineer of Record for dedicated projects.Supporting the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with technical training and mentorship.Coordinating project assignments within the engineering team, including system design and engineering tasks.Establishing design standards, specifications, and project criteria.Leading and supervising team members in their engineering duties.Managing Construction Administration duties, such as field reports, RFIs, and processing Bulletins and Addenda.Collaborating with accounting to prepare monthly project invoices and monitor accounts receivable.Overseeing all correspondence among staff, clients, contractors, and owners.Engaging in and contributing to project reviews.
