Position Overview
We are on the lookout for an experienced Launch Operations Mechanical Engineer Lead to spearhead and oversee all mechanical integration activities at our launch site. This pivotal role entails providing technical authority and leadership during the launch campaign, ensuring that all mechanical systems are prepared, risks are mitigated, and the execution of both flight hardware and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) is seamless. As the primary on-site mechanical authority, you will connect design, manufacturing, and launch operations while mentoring engineers and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure mission success.
