The Role
We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Lead to enhance and expand our People Operations in Germany as we scale our global presence. This dynamic, hands-on leadership position within a compact team involves managing core employee lifecycle processes, refining workflows, maintaining data integrity, and developing clear, compliant, and practical policies.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced People Operations professional eager to lead without the need for extensive hierarchy or a first-time team lead who thrives in a close-knit environment while elevating organizational standards for structure and service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete employee lifecycle in Germany, encompassing contracts, onboarding, changes, offboarding, documentation, and employee correspondence.
Act as the primary contact for HR operational matters, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations for both employees and managers.
Oversee compliance and HR governance, ensuring all policies align with German labor law.
Draft, implement, and maintain People policies and SOPs related to remote work, working hours, leave, travel, and allowances.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel as necessary to ensure comprehensive documentation and full auditability.
Own HR data quality within the HRIS, managing structures, workflows, permissions, document management, and reporting.
Develop and present regular People metrics and dashboards, enhancing insights delivered to leadership.
Design and implement scalable processes to support ongoing growth and operational efficiency.
