About The Role:
Amartha is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Product Manager to spearhead the development and expansion of our innovative credit product portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will craft and execute the strategy for our credit-related offerings, including loans, credit cards, and more, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fulfilling market needs. You will work collaboratively with diverse teams including engineering, data, risk, and marketing to bring the product vision to life, create pioneering solutions, and elevate customer experiences within the credit sector. Your profound knowledge of credit products and robust leadership skills will be instrumental in delivering solutions that not only satisfy customer demands but also drive significant business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our credit products, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and customer requirements.
- Market Research & Trends: Stay informed on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings within the credit landscape. Conduct thorough market research and analyze customer feedback to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, risk, finance, compliance, marketing, and operations teams to drive the product development cycle. Facilitate product planning sessions and ensure seamless coordination across teams for timely product launches.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Partner with risk, legal, and compliance teams to guarantee that all credit products comply with necessary regulations, including credit risk policies and underwriting guidelines.
- Customer Experience & Journey: Champion initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experiences throughout the credit product lifecycle, from onboarding through repayment. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to develop intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate product performance and customer input using key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement actionable strategies to refine product features, pricing, and market positioning.
- Mentoring & Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, offering guidance on best practices in product management and credit products.
- Innovation & Scaling: Identify and capitalize on opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the credit market. Expand existing product offerings and develop new solutions that adapt to changing market needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate the product vision, priorities, and progress to senior leadership, while engaging with external partners and vendors.
