The Data Platform team at 84.51° and Kroger is on the lookout for a Lead Product Manager specializing in Asynchronous File Movement. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the file movement strategy, aligning enterprise-wide data movement capabilities that facilitate the transfer of hundreds of thousands of files each month across our data ecosystems at 84.51° and Kroger.
The Lead Product Manager will take ownership of outcomes by identifying the right challenges, validating solutions with end-users, and delivering measurable value. This involves balancing time-to-value, cost, reliability, security, compliance, and long-term strategic impact to ensure the product direction aligns with business priorities and cross-organizational goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a long-term product vision that ties platform capabilities to broader business objectives while ensuring user needs and strategy are well understood, supported, and actionable.
- Create and maintain a 12-month delivery roadmap that effectively communicates how the work advances strategic outcomes, integrating business priorities, user research, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Transform business objectives, user requirements, and technical limitations into clear product specifications and acceptance criteria, with precise definitions and functional & non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with Data Program leadership, engineering, and data science teams to plan quarterly cycles and ensure efficient, predictable delivery.
