Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Engineer to take charge of the complete architecture and deployment of the AX-Measure platform. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital link between our internal R&D team and our external partners in the semiconductor and quantum manufacturing sectors.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that our agentic AI, software infrastructure, and hardware control systems are seamlessly integrated to address critical customer challenges. You will translate customer needs into actionable technical specifications, oversee system integration, and spearhead the deployment of our technology in client facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define the end-to-end system architecture, detailing how AI agents interact with customer hardware, data infrastructure, and EDA workflows.
- Direct the technical integration of subsystems (including instrument drivers, algorithms, and database layers) to ensure a cohesive, fault-tolerant product.
- Establish and monitor system-level KPIs (e.g., measurement throughput, latency, thermal stability, data integrity, and failure rates) across the development team.
- Act as the primary technical contact for key customers, translating their requirements into engineering tasks.
- Lead the deployment and commissioning of our systems at customer sites, ensuring smooth integration with their existing toolchains.
- Collect user feedback to guide the product roadmap and prioritize R&D initiatives.
- Facilitate the integration of measurement software, instrument control layers, and modeling or design tools.
- Define product interfaces and abstractions that allow for scalable deployment across various hardware environments.
- Establish best practices for implementing agentic AI in high-stakes physical experimentation and manufacturing settings.
