The Opportunity
We are excited to announce an opening for a Learning Strategist within our dynamic Enterprise Learning Operations team in Dubai. This position is crucial in driving the design and development of innovative learning solutions tailored for a large-scale enterprise environment. You will engage in in-depth discovery processes, apply strong instructional design principles, and uphold the highest standards of quality and coherence across all learning initiatives.
The Learning Strategist is pivotal in determining how learning experiences are crafted, ensuring alignment with real business objectives while focusing on the learner's needs. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives on inquiry, challenges existing assumptions, and excels at simplifying complex concepts into impactful learning experiences.
In this role, you will actively engage with stakeholders, conduct discovery sessions, and work both onsite and in a hybrid capacity within the UAE.
What You Will Own
Discovery and Learning Requirements
Lead comprehensive discovery initiatives to identify learning needs, performance gaps, and organizational context.
Conduct thorough needs assessments through engaging conversations, observations, and data analysis.
Transform business and performance requirements into precise learning objectives and design specifications.
Develop detailed design briefs and documentation to guide the design and development teams effectively.
Instructional Design Across Modalities
Create high-quality learning experiences across various modalities, including instructor-led, virtual, digital, and on-the-job training.
Consistently apply best practices in instructional design and adult learning theories.
Design engaging, learner-centered experiences that enhance retention and practical application.
Establish evaluation approaches to assess learning outcomes and skill acquisition.
Develop structured learning pathways that promote ongoing capability enhancement.
Learning Brand and Design Consistency
Ensure all learning solutions reflect and reinforce a cohesive enterprise learning identity.
Maintain uniformity in tone, structure, and design methodology across all solutions.
Question and challenge design or content decisions that compromise quality or consistency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on design expectations and standards.
Working with Subject Matter Experts
Work closely with subject matter experts to extract and distill critical knowledge.
Challenge overly technical or dense content to ensure learning remains accessible and actionable.
Facilitate collaborative sessions that convert expertise into clear, user-friendly learning content.
