Who are we hiring?
The Leave of Absence Specialist plays a critical role in supporting employees and managers by facilitating the leave request process and ensuring workplace accommodations are managed effectively. This position works collaboratively with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to conduct thorough interactive processes, address sensitive or complex cases, and provide clear communication and timely support. The Leave Specialist will engage with internal stakeholders, including Benefits, Legal, and Employee Relations, to ensure compliance and consistency in outcomes.
What will you do?
· Collaborate with employees, managers, and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to facilitate workplace accommodations and manage qualifying leave requests.
· Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, assisting in navigating the leave and accommodation processes, including tracking, status updates, and available resources.
· Support and facilitate the interactive process for ADA accommodation requests by collecting information to identify and implement reasonable workplace accommodations in partnership with HRBPs and the external leave administrator.
