Key Responsibilities:
- Apply spine labels to books and compact discs
- Sort labels and cards efficiently
- Attach protective Mylar/Kapco covers to dust jackets
- Conduct Stamping and Theft Identification
- Perform regular Auditing tasks
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- High school level reading comprehension and writing skills
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition and subtraction
- Proficient in basic computer operations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety guidelines in a warehouse setting
- Capability to perform repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to multi-task according to workflow demands
- Consistency in meeting production standards
- Reliable attendance
- Strong communication abilities
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs with full range of motion during the shift
- Ability to push or pull up to 70lbs in a warehouse environment
- Continuous grip and grasping ability
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, climbing, and reaching above shoulder height
- Willingness to work designated shifts, including overtime as needed
- Exposure to varying temperatures
