Job Description
As a Licensed Civil Engineer on our Site Design team at Olsson, you will engage in project management for small to medium-sized projects, prepare comprehensive planning and design documents, and conduct essential design calculations. This role involves collaboration with various Olsson teams, technical experts, and clients, as well as potential site visits and attendance at client meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering duties related to the evaluation, design, and construction of plans for various project sizes.
- Assist in the preparation of project documents while maintaining knowledge of project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Execute design calculations and analyze reports to prepare cost estimates and evaluate project feasibility.
- Utilize standard techniques, methods, and procedures to facilitate coordination of project design elements.
- Communicate project development and progress to project managers and clients effectively.
- Maintain accurate project information and client records within the firm's project management system.
- Assess and recommend modifications to standard methods and procedures for specific assignments.
- Provide supervision and technical mentorship to junior staff as needed.
