Your Key Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain steam and hot water boiler systems according to Grade 4 Stationary Engineer licensing standards.
Conduct regular inspections and rounds to ensure the integrity of boilers, burners, feedwater systems, valves, and safety controls.
Start up, shut down, and adjust boiler equipment in accordance with established operating procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure compliance with Maryland Boiler Safety regulations and local codes.
Accurately record operating data and inspection logs.
Perform preventive maintenance and assist in diagnosing issues with boiler and mechanical systems.
Respond promptly to facility alarms, equipment malfunctions, and urgent service needs.
Assist with related mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, heat exchangers, and expansion tanks.
Work across various facilities throughout Maryland, including government, healthcare, industrial, or commercial properties.
