This position is perfect for meticulous laboratory professionals who excel in fast-paced, night-shift settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute laboratory tests accurately and promptly according to established protocols.
Analyze proficiency testing samples within designated timeframes.
Conduct STAT testing while achieving turnaround time objectives.
Utilize sound clinical judgment to correlate and interpret patient results, including performing delta checks.
Implement quality control procedures and address abnormal findings effectively.
Review pending and result logs, resolving outstanding workload issues.
Ensure all necessary documentation related to patient testing and results is completed.
Appropriately escalate critical values and laboratory issues.
Assume departmental responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor as required.
