Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and provide follow-up care for clients.
- Create tailored treatment plans to ensure a smooth continuum of care.
- Document clinical interactions accurately and promptly using integrated electronic health record (EHR) tools.
- Engage with clients via secure messaging and coordinate virtual or in-person appointments based on your preferences.
- Work alongside interdisciplinary teams and refer to additional professionals when necessary.
- Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards in psychiatric care.
Requirements
- Possess an active and unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in at least one U.S. state.
- Hold a valid DEA or CDS registration.
- Board certification (e.g., ANCC) is required.
- Maintain an active NPI number and professional malpractice insurance.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage a caseload effectively, and uphold clinical excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensure across multiple states is advantageous.
- Experience in telepsychiatry or private practice settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance-based client care is a plus.
