We are thrilled to announce a remarkable opportunity for the position of Lifting Supervisor with our esteemed client in Qatar. This role is pivotal in overseeing lifting operations and ensuring safety compliance on our civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute lift plans while collaborating with crane operators, riggers, and signalmen to ensure optimal ground conditions.
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting activities in alignment with the approved Lifting Plan.
- Evaluate heavy and critical lifting operations for safe planning, crane selection, and equipment usage.
- Conduct pre-lift briefings to cover risk management and safe lifting protocols with all team members.
- Inspect lifting equipment including cranes and slings to ensure they meet safety standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including lift plans, risk assessments, and equipment inspection records.
- Regularly communicate with Site In-charges to enhance lifting systems and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Assess ground conditions prior to lifting operations and address any identified safety concerns.
