About the Team
The Live Operations team at Roku supports high-profile live and linear streaming experiences, catering to millions of viewers. We collaborate cross-functionally with both internal and external partners to ensure the reliable, high-quality delivery of live sports and events at scale.
This role is ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced, real-time environments, are detail-oriented under pressure, and possess a strong passion for live sports and streaming technology.
The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $72,000. Compensation packages vary based on individual factors such as skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules and operational readiness for upcoming live sporting events in collaboration with internal teams and content partners.
- Provide real-time operational support for multiple concurrent live streaming events.
- Oversee Tier-1 live events end-to-end, ensuring a superior viewer experience.
- Manage task execution among production teams, service partners, and supporting engineers during live events.
- Work alongside senior engineers to triage and resolve high-severity incidents while supporting root-cause analysis.
- Generate post-event reports and operational summaries for Live Operations leadership.
- Contribute to the development, testing, and improvement of live operations processes.
