The Local Division Director (LDD) plays a pivotal role in implementing and executing the divisional strategy while leading the local divisional team.
This position is crucial for driving local revenue and profitability growth in accordance with the local budget, ensuring sustainable development of our competitive standing in key business areas. The LDD will also focus on providing exceptional customer support and service, establishing it as a source of profit.
Travel Expectations: Domestic: 30-40%, International: 10-20%
Main Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Collaborate in defining the division’s business plan by proposing sales strategies and intervention plans aimed at enhancing our market presence.
- In conjunction with the business head and regional sales head, execute national business plans that translate divisional strategy into practical outcomes and ensure the achievement of marketing and sales objectives.
- Establish the local sales budget and ensure targets are met.
- Oversee the local division's P&L, including sales of products, spare parts, and services.
- Enhance team efficiency and promote continuous improvement across technical, sales, and service domains.
- Ensure timely reporting and conduct budget revisions, deviation analyses, and improvement suggestions.
- With support from the local Managing Director, ensure compliance with commercial agreements and manage the use of divisional tools, guidelines, and communication strategies defined by divisional Marketing/GDM.
Team Management:
- Set objectives for Area Sales Managers and monitor their outcomes.
- Assist the local Managing Director with talent management and succession planning processes.
- Foster motivation and continuous development of the sales force to enhance accountability.
- Keep the sales team informed on product launches and ensure understanding of the go-to-market strategy.
- Guide and support efforts to strengthen the sales network and customer portfolio, while managing significant sales negotiations and ensuring accurate sales tool management (e.g., CRM).
