As a Logistics Coordinator at fusionirx, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure the seamless transportation and delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel, thereby supporting vital construction activities. Collaborating closely with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors, you will be instrumental in facilitating efficient operations and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the procurement, transportation, and timely delivery of construction materials to the site.
• Maintain precise inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials to prevent loss.
• Monitor material utilization and reorder supplies proactively to avoid operational delays.
• Schedule and manage the logistics of delivering and returning construction equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is regularly maintained and serviced to meet operational standards.
• Track equipment usage and optimize allocation for different site activities.
• Coordinate accommodations and logistical support for on-site personnel.
• Manage site access and security protocols for deliveries and personnel.
• Collaborate with construction teams to align logistics with project timelines and schedules.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure operational flow.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, including material usage, equipment status, and personnel movements.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to walk up to 5 miles per day, stand for extended periods (8-10 hours), and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pushing/pulling, crouching, kneeling in confined spaces, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. These physical demands are essential for successfully performing the core functions of the job.
