- Ensure adherence to the fruit transportation schedule.
- Lead the implementation of risk management policies from contract hiring to operational execution of raw materials transportation contracts.
- Drive project development aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs (such as route optimization and real-time vehicle monitoring, regional bins, proprietary refueling stations, etc.), while also implementing clean energy strategies (own CNG stations, etc.).
- Set area goals and performance indicators, managing the team and operations with a results-driven approach while adhering to budget guidelines.
- Define responsibilities and streamline communication flows for decision-making between logistics, planning, industry, and owned farms (decision tree).
- Lead initiatives with the team to reduce and eliminate costs associated with logistical anomalies and increase operational efficiency focused on cost reduction.
- Oversee the validation of logistics service requirements, establish and implement evaluation routines based on SLAs, and interface with Procurement regarding service providers and the services rendered.
- Develop and structure an assessment and development plan for logistics service providers, particularly raw material carriers.
- Lead the team and assist in the formation of the Inbound Logistics team.
- Perform other related activities as needed.
