Role Overview
We are in search of a dynamic Logistics Operations Manager to steer and enhance our daily Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) logistics operations. This position emphasizes operational excellence, ensuring seamless order processing from checkout to final delivery, efficient inbound shipments, and prompt issue resolution, thereby guaranteeing customers a consistently outstanding experience.
Your responsibilities will encompass end-to-end D2C logistics for both our Webshop and Amazon platforms across Europe, Canada, Australia, and the forthcoming USA launch. This role involves managing daily fulfillment, outbound logistics, inbound transportation from factories to regional warehouses, last-mile delivery, returns, and liaising with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and internal teams. While primarily remote, occasional visits to warehouses in Switzerland, Germany, the UK, Canada, and Australia will be necessary.
While you will contribute to ongoing improvements and optimizations, this role is heavily focused on execution, including the management of 3PLs, carriers, inventory visibility, product integrity, and reporting on critical logistics KPIs. Close collaboration with Finance, Sales, Operations, Quality, and Customer Service teams will be pivotal in ensuring streamlined, reliable, and scalable logistics operations.
Core Responsibilities
End-to-End D2C Logistics Operations
- Oversee end-to-end D2C logistics for Webshop and Amazon across Europe, Canada, Australia, and the upcoming USA launch.
- Assist in planning and executing the overarching logistics strategy.
- Manage daily fulfillment and outbound logistics operations from order processing to final delivery.
- Oversee transportation, last-mile delivery, returns, and resolution of issues as part of outbound execution.
3PL & Carrier Management
- Manage and expand a multi-3PL network, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
