The Role:
Van Beest operates a modern distribution center responsible for the transportation of our products both domestically and internationally. We are currently seeking a Logistics Working Foreman/Woman to prepare shipments efficiently.
As a Logistics Working Foreman/Woman, you will maintain calm, organization, and pace on the work floor. You will monitor progress closely, distribute tasks smartly, and inspire the team to achieve the best results together. Everyone will know what needs to be done and when. You will actively participate in the logistics process, being visibly present on the floor, collecting orders, operating the forklift, and providing support where necessary.
At the end of each day, you will reflect with the team on a productive workday: all orders dispatched on time, the warehouse orderly and organized, and everyone can head home with satisfaction. And of course, a happy customer is our ultimate goal.
This is a full-time position (38.75 hours) spread over five days; one week from 06:00 to 14:45 and the next week from 07:30 to 16:15.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in collecting, verifying, and preparing orders for dispatch;
- Lead and guide the logistics team on the work floor;
- Monitor daily progress and adherence to the schedule;
- Distribute tasks and set priorities;
- Ensure order, cleanliness, and safety in the distribution center;
- Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements;
- Act as a point of contact for colleagues during shifts.
