WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Loss Prevention Analyst at hmgroup, you will play a crucial role in managing and addressing loss prevention challenges across our operations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Your primary objective will be to prevent and minimize loss while working closely with the Security Manager to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with the Security team to foster a safe environment for both employees and customers at H&M.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough analysis and investigations of Point of Sale (POS) activities, identifying training needs, procedural improvements, and potential fraud.
- Continuously supporting stores in implementing Loss Prevention Strategies aimed at reducing shrinkage throughout the organization.
- Preparing and analyzing predefined store audit reports, assisting Store Auditors during audits.
- Collaborating with store teams on Loss Prevention action plans, including coordination with security personnel.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and POS data to drive actions that enhance profitability while balancing short and long-term objectives.
- Assisting the Security Department in executing investigations related to fraud and liaising with law enforcement and judicial authorities.
- Initiating and maintaining technical security systems in partnership with external subcontractors.
- Organizing tenders and selecting subcontractors in conjunction with the Security Manager.
- Leading regular security meetings for stores and surrounding areas.
- Creating budgets and overseeing cost management related to your responsibilities.
WHO YOU’LL COLLABORATE WITH
In this role, you will be part of the Security Department and will report directly to the Security Manager. You will engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including Store Auditors, Compliance Managers, Security Specialists, Store Managers, Store Employees, external security agencies, law enforcement, and judicial authorities. Your ability to motivate and inspire others will be key in ensuring adherence to company security and loss prevention policies.
WHO YOU ARE
We seek individuals who possess:
- Relevant professional experience in loss prevention or a related field.
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluent communication skills in Czech or Slovak and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with company safety and security protocols.
