Our flagship technology, integral to the ATARS product, empowers pilots to experience realistic simulations of the cognitive challenges associated with flying in expansive outdoor settings, offering scalable and immersive training solutions.The RoleWe are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and results-driven Manufacturing Readiness Lead to oversee production operations and supply chain processes for intricate aerospace products. This position requires a blend of precise scheduling and effective project coordination to ensure that all production prerequisites—including material availability, documentation, engineering modifications, and testing readiness—are meticulously organized, monitored, and executed punctually. The Manufacturing Readiness Lead will be pivotal in enhancing manufacturing preparedness across various products by managing cross-departmental deliverables and maintaining cohesive schedules.In addition, this role will contribute to product lifecycle and sustainment initiatives, including planning for Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), and obsolescence tracking (DMSMS), thereby securing long-term material availability for Department of Defense (DOD) and aerospace clients. Unlike a conventional Program Manager, the focus of this role is on execution, readiness oversight, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that both in-house and contract manufacturing teams are well-equipped to successfully produce and deliver hardware.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Readiness & Execution ManagementLead the Manufacturing Readiness processes for multiple products, ensuring completion of all cross-functional deliverables before production commences.Organize and facilitate Manufacturing Readiness meetings, collecting inputs from Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Testing teams.Develop and maintain readiness checklists, deliverables, and exit criteria for production runs.Identify and address gaps in readiness, such as material shortages, documentation deficiencies, ECO implementation status, tooling preparedness, and testing readiness.Ensure alignment between internal teams and contract manufacturers prior to production execution.Planning, Scheduling & Material ReadinessCreate and maintain integrated schedules that encompass supply chain logistics, material delivery timelines, manufacturing activities, ECO implementation, and other critical elements.
